From a young age, I've been passionate about sports media and journalism. Listening to sports talk radio in the car with my dad and growing up in a family of diehard Chicago sports fans were the first things that sparked my dream of working in that field. So far during my time in college, I've gotten involved with various media outlets, which has pushed me closer to making that dream come true. 

I helped found a new Sports Department at our student radio station, WPGU 107.1, where I also serve as Production Director and host my own on-air show. In addition, I cover the Illini football team as a beat reporter for SB Nation’s The Champaign Room. Through Big Ten Network’s Student U Program and Big Ten Plus, I’ve done play-by-play, color commentary and sideline reporting for various Illinois sports. I’ve also gained additional experience by starting my own podcast and editing short-form content from it.
